Always An Adventure 

Singing with Brethren is always an adventure. This fall, we traveled to Portland, OR for a weekend of concerts. On our day off, we decided to head to the beautiful Oregon coast in search of Mo's World Famous Clam Chowder and ended up having quite the adventure. As we approached Cannon Beach, I immediately recognized the iconic Haystack Rock from the 1985 classic film The Goonies. The Beginning 

In the spring of 2005, I went to Pat Vaughn who had just recently moved to Annandale, VA, and asked him if he would be willing to direct a recording idea that I had been brainstorming. I had known Pat since 1998 when we sang together as members of the Lake Junaluska Singers in North Carolina and knew he would be the perfect musical leader for such a project.
